Brian joined JLB+Partners in 2004 after spending 30 years in leadership and management positions in Chicago and New York agencies including DDB; Wells, Rich, Greene; Bayer Bess Vanderwarker; and Hampel Stefanides. During the course of his agency career his client assignments included Anheuser-Busch, McDonald’s, Jack Daniels, General Mills, Quaker Oats, NEC, Neuberger Berman and ITT Hartford.
As General Manager of JLB+Partners/New York, Brian has overseen assignments in each of the firm’s 3 practice areas—agency search, agency compensation, and agency relationship management. Global and U.S.-based clients include: GM, TD Ameritrade, Darden, GSK, Nissan, Sony, McCormick, Mercedes-Benz, Four Seasons Resorts and Hotels, Del Monte, Tracfone Wireless, OppenheimerFund, Hershey’s, McDonald’s and Sam’s Club.
Brian has authored ANA best practices guidebooks on Deciding When To Conduct and Agency Search, Organizing for an Agency Search and Selecting A New Agency.
In addition, Brian has served as a Board member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies and the NARB.
