Gail Nelson drives revenue growth and brand transformation as a senior marketing executive for BrandActive. Over her career, she has held senior marketing positions at B2B companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 firms in the technology, financial services, consulting, and marketing services sectors. Currently, she provides marketing leadership to BrandActive, a firm that specializes in the financial analysis, strategy, and logistics of rebranding implementation and brand and marketing operations.
Previously, Gail served as Global CMO for Guidepoint, a global expert network, and before that, as CMO for top-tier branding firm Siegel+Gale. Earlier in her career, she was VP of Marketing for fintech company NaviSys (bought by Accenture) and VP of Marketing for digital workspace provider Intralinks. A two-time entrepreneur, Gail founded both a software and a consulting business. The latter grew to $1.8 million in revenue in just one year and was the top-performing firm of its kind in the region for more than five years.
Gail holds a master’s degree in corporate and public communication from Seton Hall University. She is an active volunteer for several causes. She helped organize the CMO Cares program of The CMO Club. She has served as a Trustee of the Summit Area YMCA, is a member of its strategic planning committee, and chairs the Downtown Beautification Committee in her hometown.
