Amit Mackar

Founder
After spending 12 years in various brand roles at P&G and Danone, Amit launched Peanut Butter & Imagination for one simple reason – he knew there had to be a better way that agencies and brands could work together to achieve their business goals. As it turns out, he may have been onto something. PB&I’s success boils down to a simple combination of empathy, creativity, and practicality that has attracted, and resonated with powerhouse brands such as Domino’s, Ulta Beauty, Coca-Cola, and Kelly Blue Book. Amit has walked a mile in his client’s shoes. That understanding paired with a model that matches each client relationship and project to the most qualified and experienced talent and team means that they show up and deliver in a very different way than most agencies today. In short, that means we typically get to the finish line in a better, quicker, and more frictionless way. We may get a B2B, a BB Cream, and BBQ brief all in one week and approach each of those conversations with the same breadth and depth of knowledge of an agency that’s 5x our size. Amit lives in Brooklyn where is outnumbered 3:1 by his wife and two daughters which means he also has a pretty strong ballet, space exploration, and love of Taylor Swift game.

Fuel Your Creativity with Inclusion

May 8, 2024 | 12:45 pm
This panel will address the role that diversity and inclusion bring to agency cultures – as well as the tangible business benefits. By challenging homogeneous thinking, we can blow our imagination and creativity wide open. When tapping into more culturally diverse insights, work can come to life that is more interesting, authentic, and impactful.

Amidst the attacks and misinformation around diversity, equity, and inclusion, now is not the time to deprioritize your agency’s commitment to building diverse teams and fostering inclusive environments where everyone can thrive. It’s more than the right thing to do; it’s good for business.
