After beginning his career in his hometown of Detroit, Madison Avenue beckoned, and relocation followed. Ron worked for various Omnicom companies beginning in 1984, ultimately becoming BBDO’s North American Director of Media Technology in 1993. In 1998 Ron became one of the original members of the OMD Worldwide management team (OMD WW employee #3), where as Head of Global Business Development, he helped craft the OMD brand and establish it as a preeminent global network. He also helped create the OMD web platform, manage OMD Academy and all global OMD management meetings. He then joined sister agency PHD in 2004, managing domestic and international client assignments from a New York base.
Since joining SRI in 2011, Ron has helped direct media-specific engagements with over 50 clients across every category and business, with total billings of almost $6 billion, ranging from agency reviews to relationship and compensation consulting. Beyond these projects, Ron supports SRI clients in the numerous and growing number of integrated reviews conducted where media is a key component of the agency's scope of work.
Ron’s single-minded objective is to provide clients with a positive and successful process that is outcome oriented. He consistently presents clients with strong options that meet their business and cultural needs and strives to ensure that each agency delivers its best work. This makes client decisions challenging but also rewarding and ensures that clients select an agency that will become a true strategic partner.
