With more than 15 years of experience in communications and marketing, Theresa’s career spans several distinguished creative agencies. She’s worked on behalf of some of Fortune 500’s most iconic brands, including Anheuser-Busch InBev, Ford, HBO, McDonald’s, Delta, Dr Pepper, Volkswagen, Taco Bell, Georgia-Pacific, UPS, GEICO, Walmart, Target and Mondelez (Oreo).
As the head of PR for Wieden+Kennedy’s New York office, she serves as an advisor to the leadership team, driving internal and external communications strategy and thought leadership, media relations, and employee experience initiatives. Most recently, she led W+K’s involvement in the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports and Entertainment for its inaugural year at LIU in Brooklyn.
Prior to W+K, Theresa was EVP, head of communications at Deutsch LA. She cut her teeth at The Martin Agency in Richmond, VA where she also met her husband Parker, who charmed her with frequent fountain soda deliveries when she needed it most.
She’s a proud graduate of Virginia Tech, and currently resides outside Manhattan with her husband and two young daughters Molly and Maggie, who give her reality checks daily.
